Qualification for BMRCL Recruitment
Candidate has a Degree in Civil Engineering. With Experience:
1. Should be in SAG/NFSAG or equivalent grade with a proven track record of a minimum of Seventeen (17) years Of Group A service.
2. Should have a minimum of five (5) years experience out of the Seventeen (17) years in the planning, tendering and executing multi-disciplinary/large infrastructure projects such Metro/MRTS/Railways/elevate Roads/Tunnels/ports/airports, etc. 3. Should preferably have experience and knowledge Of co-ordinating and interfacing with Railway related disciplines such as Track laying works, Signaling, Electrification and Rolling Stock, safety aspects relating to Railway construction and operations etc.
3. Other desirable Requirements: Knowledge of Kannada will be an added advantage Experience of working in and metro project.

Engineer/General Manager from central government:
a. Personal Accident Insurance covers up to Rs. 12.5 lakhs and Medical Insurance cover for self and family up to Rs. 7.5 lakhs p.a, if the Railway officer opts for Medical facilities under BMRCL Rules.
b. Reimbursement of vehicle hire charges with limits up to 40000 per month c. Deputation Allowance as per Govt. rules d. BMRCL Quarters in lieu Of HRA, Subject to BMRCL rules & availability Of quaders
e. Reimbursement of residential telephone bill up to max of Rs. 1000/- p.m.
f. Reimbursement Of Newspaper bills up to Rs. 300 p.m.
g. Fixed Medical Allowances of Rs. 1250/- p.m
h. Project allowances of Rs. 5000/- p.m
i. High Skill Allowances of Rs. 5000/- p.m
j. Mobile Handset of Rs. 10000/-
k.CUG facility up to RS. 2000/- p.m
